All members will be asked to distribute flyers to neighborhood mail boxes advertising our April 26th Plant & Bake Sale. Flyers and instructions will be distributed at the April 8th meeting.

Special Orders for flats available to Active Members

Dear Active Members,

This year we have a special opportunity for members to place Special Orders for flats from Walnut Springs Nursery that are not being offered on our Online Sale. Please first look at our online website for the plants that we are offering (https://www.whgcplants.org/shop). Then you can look at Walnut Springs Plant Sale Catalogue (see the link below) for additional plants that can be purchased.

Please keep in mind the following:

Only active members are able to special order.
Special orders have to be for full flats only ( which is a discounted price).
The deadline for special orders is the same as the Online Sale (March 30).
You are welcome to coordinate sharing a flat but need to coordinate amongst yourselves.
Please note that special orders are subject to availability –Walnut Springs doesn’t always end up having everything that’s in their catalog available when we take delivery of our order. We will let you know as soon as we know if a Special Order cannot be fulfilled. Otherwise, assume that your Special Order will be available.
Orders will be available for pickup at the regular plant pick up (Thursday April 24-4406 Boxwood Court). Payment for the Special Orders (either check or credit card) will be at the time of pick up.

How to place a Special Order:
1. If you are purchasing plants from our online plant sale, when you are checking out in your "Cart," under the pictures of the plants you have selected for purchase is an option to "Add a Note." Please indicate here what you would like to special order.
2. If you are not purchasing any plants from our online plant sale, contact Betsy Turley or Polly Best and they can place the Special Order for you.

In both scenarios, you will not be charged until you pick up your plants on Thursday April 24.

Each committee will be provided a budget. Prior approval is needed before exceeding that budget. All receipts and invoices should be submitted to the Treasurer by June 1.
